The coastline of Wales is a great place to visit. It is beautiful and offers great camping opportunities. It is a good idea to hire a car so you can explore the many attractions. The best beaches are located near Exmouth, Cromer, and Wells. You should also visit the towns of Blakeney, Blakeney, Morston, and Polperro.

Although the coast isn't known for its sand beaches, Cliff Head offers some stunning views. The water is marked by a finger of blackrock that rises from the sea. This makes it a great spot to enjoy the summer sun. You can also visit the local baker and butcher if you are looking for some home-cooked treats.

The Slapton Sands Camping and Caravanning Club features some of Devon's best facilities and is the only one. There are 115 generous pitches on grassy fields and the club offers several tours of the area in the company of one of their members. The club offers boat trips to Totnes. The best part about it is that there are no fees to visit the site.

You might not have known this, but the Cliff Head campsite is actually free. The site has a decent toilet and shower facility. A washing machine and dryer are available. There is also a block of basic amenities with a refrigerator and freezer.

Pembrokeshire Heritage Coast has a spectacular view of Milford Haven Estuary. There are many beaches nearby. There are plenty of opportunities for surfing and swimming. A site shop sells local produce. Free Wi-Fi is available. There are also camping snugs to rent, and a shower that is a bit of a rarity.

You can see the best of the coast by taking a cruise. However, you also have the option to take a ferry to the Isle of Arran. You can also visit the nearby RSPB reserve at Leighton Moss. The impressive St Davids cathedral is also nearby, making it the smallest city of Britain.

You can also drive north to Lindisfarne or Holy Island. You may even find a shipwreck sticking out of the sand. Turquoise Bay or Cape Range National Park can also be explored. Booking a hotel, campervan, or hotel is an option for those who want to get away from camping. There are plenty of restaurants and pubs nearby if you don’t feel like cooking.

While the best campsites are in the coastal area, there are plenty of options in the surrounding countryside. Gibraltar Farm, Morecambe Bay, has a separate site with 10 acres of old woodland and a new shower block. The best thing about the site? It's centrally located so it's easy and convenient to get around.
