Pop-up campsites and tents are just a few of the amenities available. Some campsites offer full hookups, while others only have electricity. Many sites are also reinforced using gravel. Some of the most luxurious sites include bathrooms with showers and hot water.
There are plenty of things to do around the area, such as hiking and swimming at the Green Mountain Reservoir. Bartlett Falls, a popular swimming hole, is also a great choice. To reach this beautiful spot, it's only a short distance from the campground.

Two pools exist at the GMFC. One pool is 18inches deep and one is 4ft. There are two swimming pools at the campground. The other is a children's water play area. Some campsites allow pets. Others are not.
The GMFC has a fully-sized pavilion available for events. It also features a nice camp shop, a renovated spa, and a games room. Some of the campsites are equipped with electric, while others offer water and no hookups. You will find a wide range of camping supplies at the camp store.
The best part of the GMFC is that it's a family-friendly campground. The day fee covers access to the pool and nearby picnic areas. It is a little bit of a hike to get from the campsite to the closest trailhead.

There's also an on-site shop, a game room and pavilion for bingo. The campground also features a pond. It is also just a short drive from Bristol's Bartlett Falls. The GMFC is also within easy reach of the Middleblury Municipal Forest. This is important for pet-owners, as the campground does not allow pets.
The GMFC also has an RV park, which is located inside of the main campground. The GMFC is available to equestrian groups, so you can enjoy horseback riding in the vicinity. A different camp may be more suitable for you if you prefer a quieter and more peaceful vacation.
In addition to the GMFC, you should look into Cedar Hill Campground. This campground developed camping sites in both the north and southern areas. Holiday Inn Express is also available. Although the hotel offers a small play area, the internet in the area is not reliable.
