You can stay in an RV, rent a cabin, or paddle the Ichetucknee River when you visit the Ichetucknee Family Campground. The campground is in Fort White Florida.
You can choose between a tent and a primitive camping site for camping. The sewage disposal station is available for RV camping. Renting rafts or tubes to paddle the Ichetucknee River is also possible. It's also possible to book a group campsite. You will have a peaceful, large campsite for your group. You can also use the volleyball net, basketball hoop and picnic tables.
The campground is located a short distance from the Ichetucknee State Park, which is an excellent place to go boating and tubing. It is six miles long and has clear, transparent waters. It is fed by freshwater springs, and is great for swimming. An outdoor grill is available if you're not sure if you want to go on the river. A kayak or canoe can be rented.

The campground is open all year. Also, fireworks can be enjoyed at New Year's, Christmas, and Thanksgiving. The entrance has a small shop. You will find everything you need, from cigarettes to scuba gear. You can rent tubes at the general store.
While the campground is a wonderful place to stay, there are a few things you need to remember. First, you must make sure that you know the rules. Be prepared to travel in an RV. The road is fine sand. You could slip on wet sand and cause damage to your RV. If you have dogs, you must be sure they are in a designated area and they aren't allowed to bark.
Another complaint is that the bathroom facilities are not adequate. Bathrooms are located right next to the main office, and they aren’t very convenient. Because the bathrooms are not very large, it may be difficult to use them if there is a lot of people. You will also need to look for alternative accommodations if you are looking for Wifi at the campground.
Smoakhouse Ranch is also available, and has been serving the Ichetucknee since 1994. The ranch and campground are situated on 50 acres. For only $99. You can go hiking, fishing or have a delicious hot breakfast. Ranch animals are also available for rent. You can also rent fully-equipped cabins.

An entry fee is required if you are planning to visit the Ichetucknee River. You will need to pay $10 if you are not camping. You can also rent tubes, kayaks, or canoes. If you are coming to the river for the weekend, you may reserve one the 750 spots along its north side. You can also use the shuttle service.
