The Coleman Company produces recreational equipment like camping gear, lawnmowers and other products. They are a well-known brand in the industry. They are the biggest outdoor products manufacturer in the world. They have a large range of products such as soft coolers, travel trailers with pop-ups and water skis.

Coleman began out as a small firm that sold gas lanterns. They soon expanded to other products. Coleman became the most prominent manufacturer of oil space heaters in the 1930s. They were also amongst the first to manufacture portable, gasoline burner stoves. They were known for their high quality products.

In the mid-1960s, they began making tents, canoes, as well as other camping gear.
