Shenandoah Acres Campground, located in Stuarts Draft, Virginia, is a great place to camp. The Shenandoah National Park includes the campground, which allows for hiking, fishing, and horseback-riding.

Rupert Blacka, Helen Blacka, and Helen Blacka started Shenandoah Acres back in the 1930s. The campground was formerly known as America's Finest Inland Beach. In addition to the campground, the Blacka family operated an eatery and a small spring-fed lake. You could also take a trail ride on horseback or play miniature golf at the campground. It was a resort that offered fresh spring water.
It was closed in 2000, but it was reopened in 2014. Good Faith LLC bought the campground in 2005. Since then, Shenandoah Acres owners have been trying to reopen their campground. In 2010, the campground changed to Mountain Spring RV Resort. Sun Communities, Inc. owns and operates it. It is one the company's 430 resorts located in 32 states. The campground features a swimming pool, playground, and cafe. There are also pet friendly sites, but there are special rules for pets.
The campground has been operated by a couple of different owners over the years. The Blacka family, the original owner, sold the property in Ontario to Lockland Management. The campground was sold to Sun Communities, Inc., after several years. In 2020, it was purchased for $3,000,000 by SA Hold Co., LLC. However, it is not clear what improvements the new owners will make to the property.
Shenandoah Crossing is a full-service campground that offers 41 campsites for both full and partial hookups. It is big rig friendly, with plenty of space for slides and pull-thru RVs.
